Kyle Loza and Greg Hartman, Dubai.

This weekend had two team riders traveling to the Middle East to compete in the X games at Dubai. Xgames best trick champion Kyle Loza brought the Volt- this time throwing it from 75 feet. Kyle had never thrown the trick from a standard 75' ramp to dirt landing prior to letting it loose at Dubai. The take off and trick went smooth until Kyle missed the bars, resulting in a spectacular crash. Kyle escaped with minor injuries and is headed home for Christmas Greg Hartman, Truth's newest team rider Greg Hartman also joined Kyle determined to bring home a medal after just missing one at Mexican X. Greg threw a double can backflip to take the gold!

Congratulations to Greg! Rumor has it he's been working on some Truth Tee designs that could include wolves, squaw's and dreamcatchers?

Johnny Campbell wins number 10!!!!!

This is Johnny's 10th overall baja championship and he is the undisputed King of Baja. The Honda team finished the race in just over 24 hours. To top it off, on Thursday Johnny and a couple of friends scored perfect waves at los cerritos near cabo san lucas.

Here's a quote from Truth's Jeff Ray who drove a chase van and helped document the race with photos and videos.

"I am nothing short of amazed at the level of professionalism displayed by Johnny, his teammates and the entire Honda offroad organization. Nothing short of a class act. To watch Johnny interact with the throngs of fans and all the while staying so focused was incredible" "At one point just before Johnny got on the bike, an elderly gentleman approached Johnny and shared how he had been in the hospital and his grandson had brought him a get well autograph from Johnny. Not only did Johnny remember signing the autograph, he told the guy he had been praying for him. The guy was so choked up! " Congrats to Johnny a true champion on and off the bike."

Hello all,

I want to thank everyone for their prayers. I received word that Justin is already home from the hospital! He has a fractured skull, temporary hearing loss , and a shoulder injury, but should have a full recovery.

I just found out that one of our team riders, Justin Newman was seriously injured attempting a backflip on his dirtbike. He was airlifted to a hospital bleeding from his ears and nose.

Truth rider charges this weekend.

Congratulations to Eric Knowles who placed 1st in mens open and 1st in masters over the weekend at the CSF contest in ventura. He is now the new surf team manager at Monument Boardshop in Arroyo Grande and Atascedero. Eric also placed 5th in the One Way Boardshop Pro-Am in Morro Bay on Sept 22nd.
ASR and Charity Poker.

This weekend was busy for team Truth with ASR, A charity poker tournament, and two of our riders off to Mexico for some freestyle mexican X style. Truth's top "slave" Jeff Ray and team rider Matt Beacham competed in a charity poker tournament in the "green" area at ASR. Other contestants included Stryder, Kelly Slater and Jake Brown and Christian Hosoi to name a few. The stakes were high (all proceeds went to ASEC Action sports environmental coalition) w/ each player receiving $1,000 in chips. Jeff got taken down in the first round by Kelly Slater (those eyes! what a poker face), but Matt hung in there to be top chips holder at the end of round one. Unfortunately for Matt, he went down swinging in round two. But it was a great time and we reckon the environment ought to be a better place w/ all that money that was raised. Thanks to Scott at the Glue network for letting us be a part! ASR went unbelievable for Truth, our booth was hopping! Thanks to everyone who came by to show their support. Mexican X games.

Team riders Kyle Loza and Greg Hartman headed south of the border to compete at the Mexican X games. The battle was fierce with Kyle hucking his patented "Volt" in front of the screaming packed out crowd. Kyle scored like a 95 and was solid in the lead at the end of round one, w/ our boy Hartman sitting in third waiting for the second run. In round two Todd Potter through a huge KOD backflip and scored a 96, moving him into first place. Kyle went for his second run and through a variation of his trick (Volt to double cann) but got his boot slightly hung up on his tank. In the end the judges dinged him a bit and he ended up with the Silver medal. Hartman was sitting in third until Jeremy "Twitch" Stenberg through his trick. In the end Twitched edged out Greg for the Bronze. Could have been a tenure thing- can't say. Either way we are very proud of both of our guys (not bad- Gregs first X and he finished 4th and Kyle- well two trips to X , two medals- not bad at all) and we'd like to send out a congratz to Potts and Twitch as well.
Johnny Campbell Racing / Chris Blais helmet auction.

Johnny Campbell is auctioning off an authentic custom Johnny Campbell helmet. The helmet was worn 1 time during the 2007 Vegas 2 Reno race that Johnny Campbell and teammate Kendall Norman won on 8-26-07. The helmet is in perfect condition it is an Arai VX Pro 3 size large with a custom Monster Energy, Johnny Campbell, Vegas 2 Reno paint job by AP Designs.

"It was during pre running for this year's Vegas to Reno race that I came upon my close friend Chris Blais. It was about 1 minute after his crash, Chris had broken his T 7 vertebrae and his collarbone. He was alert and knew immediately that something was seriously wrong. I prayed with him and stayed with him while help arrived. Chris is strong and his family is strong so please join in helping me help them on the road to recovery."

Johnny Campbell

Johnny stayed with Chris for 4 hours waiting for a medivack helicopter to arrive and take Chris to the hospital. Chris is working hard toward recovery but the road is long and expensive. 100% of the proceeds from this sale will go to Chris for use in his recovery. Love and Destruction Tour

Thanks to you, The Love and Destruction Tour was a success! We all just hung out and had a good time. The venues were crowded and sweaty with about 325 peeps per concert. KYLE LOZA WINS X-GAMES!!!

Truth team rider, Kyle Loza, is super excited to announce his results from last night's X Games.......This was a couple of years in the making and when it all counted he went big threw it down to dirt, the Staples center went ballistic and the judges responded with a 94.20 first run score Kyle was the second rider out and his first jump set the bar high and held the whole field of riders off for both rounds of the entire evening. By winning Gold, Kyle is ensured an automatic invitation to X Games 2008.
Hero Skate team.
The Hero skate team did a demo at a sports camp put on by The Potters House church in Camdenton, MO. There were over 100 people there. Also on Saturday, there was an 8 stair best trick jam session at their skatepark for the DC shoes "Summer of Love Tour" and Mark Vote finished with a top 4 tie with a frontside 5-0 on a round rail, pop-shuvit down the stair set, ollie over the rail and a 50-50 down the hubba ledge.    
Kyle Loza Update July 8th 2007.
Kyle has been all over the nation including a trip down into Mexico to ride over the last couple of weeks. He did a photo shoot with ESPN the magazine last week. The shoot went great they had a fashion style approach and Kyle along with four other athletes from this years X Games were chosen to be profiled. The other athletes were one motocross (James Stewart) one street skater Jeremy Rogers a surfer Girl and another skater. The five total athletes will be profiled in a seven page spread in the next issue of ESPN the magazine and possibly the cover. A couple of Kyle's sponsors are submitting ads to Transworld and Racer X featuring Kyle this week and they should hit newsstands early next month. Also new on the Loza front is his new gear complements of Shift Racing Kyle received it last week and is very pleased with the look and performance of his New Gear. Kyle went down to Monster Energy X pilots this past weekend to compete in the contest and do some promotional activities for Monster Energy. His trip started with a press conference and then multiple media interviews throughout the day. The event went off with an estimated 30,000 plus in attendance of course Kyle had the crowd on their feet. On the 4th Kyle did a demo in front of over 10,000 people in West Covina, Ca alongside his R4C team mates. The traveling isn't over but after a demo in Montana next weekend Kyle has the rest of the month off to focus on X Games and deal with all of the media requests.

Kyle Loza - Frequent Flier
Welcome to the Latest edition of the kyle Loza update "Frequent flier miles" is the theme for this update. Kyle is heading out on a demo tour this week that will have him in Michigan this weekend then Tijuana, Mexico the following for the Monster Energy X Pilots event then it is off to West Covina, Ca for a 4th of July demo. From there immediately off to Pennsylvania for another Demo on the 7th of July and from Pa he takes a quick trip home then heads off to Montana for a demo on the 15th. In between he will be training for X. There have been some serious advancements in his X gameplan that we are very excited about. We are looking forward to getting closer to X where we can let more info about his trick out. Let me just say it's Big it's New and it's going to be hard to beat. The Exposure meter has been pinging off the charts for Kyle in 2007 with lots of TV, print and video media already circulating and with X around the corner it's only going to get crazier. One of the exciting things Kyle is doing on the exposure front is working with ESPN the magazine on a X Games story "we're hoping for the cover shot".

Truth Soul Armor Moves And Shakes To Strengthen Brand

San Clemente, CA (June 2007)- Truth Soul Armor has added three new family members to bring support in specific areas to the young and growing clothing company. 3) Gabe Watts, former guitarist of Olivia the Band, has decided to move on from the music scene so that he can focus on the family, with a third little cutie on the way. Moving the ohana from Cali back to the North Shore of Oahu, Gabe has now been moved from sponsored musician to Truth Soul Armor’s Hawaii sales and marketing guy.

Drum roll please!!
I am pleased to announce that Kyle Loza has been officially invited to the X Games. Read it again if you want its right Kyle will be competing in Moto X best trick at X Games 13 slated for August 2nd 2007 this summer at Staples Center in Los Angeles, Ca. This is a great honor and Kyle is very excited to be on the list special note Kyle is on the first round of invitees. The way it works is a panel from EXPN, MXI, riders and insiders decide on 10 riders from a international field of competitors. It is an honor to be chosen to participate in X Games and even more so to be in the first 5 announced. When he got the news Kyle said "No way!" then he couldn't stop smiling and he is still smiling right now. There is lot's to do to get ready but Kyle is committed to giving it 110%.
Spirit West Coast.
This weekend saw Truth at Spirit West Coast in Del Mar, Ca. It was a great event and it is a definite "must-do" for music lovers. Kyle, Dan and Justin.

This weekend saw Truth active on both coasts. We had a team in Florida at Cornerstone festival were we hooked up w/ friends from Pillar and Future of Forestry. Made lots of new friends and saw some great bands. On the west coast Truth was at OneWay boardshop in Ventura for the "Carnival" with the mini golf course that included the Monster energy hole. Word has it that the Hurley guys were a little jealous of the Truth Putt-Putt course! A good time was had by all and we hope to see all those stickers we gave out all over Ventura.

Team Rider, Gary Strahle, surfed in the NSSA State Championships @ Churches last weekend. Gary said that the waves were fun and that he placed 11th out of 90.

Dan Norris in hospital.
Truth FMX rider, Dan Norris, is in the hospital after crashing his dirtbike. He suffered a compound femur, broken arm and a broken nose when he landed short on a freestyle jump. He has had surgery and is expected to be home in a few days. We pray for a speedy recovery for Dan.

Truth Team rider Chase Stavron, got 2nd place this weekend in the high school longboard division at the NSSA open in Oceanside.

Bryce Stavron takes a bad fall.

Team rider, Bryce Stavron, took a bad fall recently while training for his moto X races. He lay unconscious for 10 min and had to be evacuated by helicopter. He was also having seizures. But by the Grace of God and lots of prayer, he is doing well and should be riding again within the next week or two.
