Brian Sumner was born in Liverpool, England. Brian grew up in the rough streets finding skating at 13 years old. He spent the next few years in and around Liverpool making a name for himself jumping down stairs, working on tricks, and winning the local contests. Brian made it over to Huntington Beach, CA at the age of 15 with his hometown friend Geoff Rowley. Brian traveled all around the world riding for many different sponsors shooting videos, interviewing, and touring. In September of 2004, Brian had a life changing experience meeting Jesus Christ and has since used his skating in a new way. He serves as a Deacon at the Sanctuary church, tours with many different ministries and also is part of The Uprising television show shown in over 70 million homes. He also changed up many of his sponsors based on what they are about which is what brought about the partnership with Truth Soul Armor. Brian also rides for Reliance skateboards, NSS footwear, Rocket wheels, Independent trucks, Ninja bearings, Furnace skateshop and Fender guitars.
